Kirti

This is Kirti, 14 years old. Her father is bed ridden, and her mother works as a domestic help. Kirti, along with helping her mother with household chores, takes immense care of her father.
She is a responsible girl who is a quick learner, and eager to gain knowledge.

Nikita

Nikita is 13 years old. Her father works as a guard and her mother is a domestic helper. She is the eldest of all siblings, and has dropped out of school to take care of them and their home by helping with the daily chores. Nikita is an energetic, enthusiastic girl, full of bright ideas. She wants to study, and has the potential to do well not only for herself, but her siblings too.

Anmol

Anmol is 5 years old. At this age, he has taken up the responsibility of taking care of his 2.5 yrs old sister when his parents are out for work. These kids are deprived of the very necessities- food, clothes. He is a bright kid, who unfortunately, is unaware of the concept of schooling, education.

Meghraj, Krishna and Himanshu

Meghraj, Krishna and Himanshu came to Upasana Foundation with a dream of becoming a Soldier, Doctor and a Policeman. Meghraj helps his father to make samosas, whereas Krishna and Himanshu take care of the 3 more siblings at home. They still attend every single class with heaps of energy.
